Alvi Siren was born in 1937 in Ukraine, Poltavian region.
At an early age, she demonstrated remarkable talent with her artistry.
Encouragement from her parents, teachers, and her innate desire to develop her natural creativeness,
inspired her to pursue art not only as a profession, but as a way of life.
Alvi Siren graduated from the Kharkov State University in 1959.
In 1963 was married and moved to live in Tallinn, Estonia.
In 1973 entered Estonian Academy of Arts and was taught by Mart Bormeister (1916 – 1991). After the first course she was compelled to leave the
academy because of family conditions. From 1974 she was working
scene-painter in a different organizations in Tallinn.
Alvi Siren now lives in London, United Kingdom. Her works are being
kept in private collections in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the United States.
